Peace, Love, and-all-about Me

About my life, and what I love.

saying goodbye.

hi 👋

my name is louise, i’m currently fourteen years old, and i’ve been blogging for close to five years.

if you’ve been following me for a while, you either a) completely forgot about my existence (which is very likely and i don’t blame you) or b) you probably thought i already quit blogging without even saying goodbye. which, to be fair, is pretty rude, and i would never end something so close to me in such a way.

or, you somehow stumbled upon this blog by accident and you’re clicking off the page right now.

either way, hello! read my gravatar profile to learn more about me (or don’t since i’ll probably never use it again anyway).

anyway, back to the point of this post:

i’m quitting wordpress.

but…why, you ask? well i originally started this blog because of school related reasons, but then began to use it as a creative outlet to let out my feelings and communicate with others.

and i honestly don’t hate blogging, i just kind of lost interest in it. it wasn’t fun anymore, so i kind of just stopped posting. my posts in 2019 have been far and few, much less, i’d say, than dan howell’s channel uploads this year.

well not quite, but it was a pretty fitting joke.

but, as a result of my inconsistency, i’ve decided that i don’t want to blog anymore.

who knows, maybe one day i’ll come back. although, the chances are very low so don’t get your hopes up.

but as of now, this blog will not be used anymore until further notice. further notice may never come, sadly, because i unfortunately don’t see myself coming back.

if you want to follow me somewhere i’m actually active, i’ll list my active social media here:

• twitter – @gothparx

• wattpad (i’ll answer quickest here) – @gothicdaisies

• pinterest – it’s either @gothicdaisies or @11blackstars, just type one in and the profile that says louise is mine (i may or may not see it if you message me)

• moviestarplanet (not that anyone still plays this game, but i check in on my old account occasionally) – bellalove63055

*i’d rather not give out my instagram or discord, but if you message me on twr or wp and tell me who you are, i’ll give you my @ for either of those sites. i also have a spotify account and a pandora account, message me on another platform to get those. at the moment i do not have snapchat, tiktok, vsco, facebook, younow, skype, or any other social media platform that i have not listed.*

well, i guess this is goodbye. i may or may not respond to comments, we’ll see.

i’ll see you in another life (or on msp, if u even know what that is lol) 👽✌

bye!

-louise

r.i.p kevin :(

hi.

i know haven’t posted on this blog in five months, and it seems pretty abandoned, but i figured this post was necessary.

since i’ve posted about my cat on here before, i decided it was best to update you guys on what happened.

a lot of things have happened since i last wrote here. i dyed my hair blue, went to three concerts, watched a lot of youtube, and tried surrounding myself with more positive things that make me happy.

but i won’t get into all that now, because this post is a little more serious than my others.

so my cat, kevin, has been a big part of my life for the past year. he’s made me a happier person, he’s made me understand animals (especially cats) a little more, and he’s just improved my life so, so much.

last thursday, however, he wasn’t feeling very well. he died around 9pm that night, from a cause none of us are completely sure of.

he had been sick for a week or two before that; he wouldn’t eat or drink anything, and he just wasn’t being like himself. he was way too skinny, so much that you could see (and feel) his bones. we took him to the vet, and they told us he had pancreas and gallbladder issues, and that he was very dehydrated. they gave him some fluids and a couple shots, and told us not to feed or water him for 24 hours.

he seemed better for the next few hours. we ended up feeding him before the 24 hours were over though, because he looked terrible and we figured it would be ok if was only a 22 hour fast instead of 24. he ate a lot of the food we gave him and even drank some of his water. we thought he had gotten better, until wednesday/thursday when he only got worse.

we’re still not completely sure what was wrong with him, but we tried so hard to help him through it. we did everything we could have done, and even that wasn’t good enough. he eventually just lost all control, meaning he was gone before he was actually gone.

before he died, he couldn’t even move. he tried to stand up and walk to his bed, and he fell over immediately because he didn’t have any strength left. we lost him whenever he lost control of himself.

it’s been hard, and there’s been lots of tears, but i’m really glad i got to spend a year with him. he was the sweetest cat i’ve had the pleasure of knowing, and i really am going to miss him.

r.i.p kevin.

i’m going to miss your loud purrs, jingle bell collar, and golden yellow eyes. 😢💛

what i got for christmas 2018

hello!

so, last year i did a post similar to this right after christmas, and i decided to do it again this year! i suppose i am a bit late since christmas was a week ago, but it’s still close enough to the holidays that i think it still qualifies. 😜

a quick disclaimer before i start: this post is not, in any way, shape, or form, me trying to brag about what i got. i’m just sharing the gifts i’ve received this christmas. i honestly hate bragging, so to make it even – leave a comment telling me all the presents and gifts you got this year!

also — i take awful photos, so i apologise in advance for all the blurry pictures. plus i painted my nails some time before this, but soon afterwards messed them up, resulting the mess you’re about to see in whichever photos include/involve my hands.

enjoy! 💙

1. the interactive introverts dvd

i was super excited about this getting because i’ve been asking for it ever since dan and phil announced their new dvd. the one i got has the holographic cover;

two discs (regular dvd + blu-ray);

three postcards (w/ exclusive ii behind the scenes photos on the other side, of which i did not photograph);

a patch that says “introvert”;

and a poster that i couldn’t take a picture of, but it’s behind the postcards inside the case in this photo:

2. a giant stuffed flamingo

this is actually something i saw in a store before christmas that my mom agreed to let me buy as one of my presents. obviously i had to wait until christmas to actually have it, but it’s super cute and i’m really happy with it.

3. t-shirts

i didn’t actually take pictures of any of these other than the trench shirt, but i tried my best to describe them as well as possible.

-trench (a picture of the album cover)

-howl’s moving castle (a picture of calcifer that says “may all your bacon burn”)

-my chemical romance (oujia board design)

-palaye royale (silhouettes of the band + red logo)

-cartoon network (the logo + characters from cn shows)

-grey long sleeve w/ velvet roses on the sleeves

4. mermaid snowglobe

this is cute because it’s a little mermaid on top of a snowglobe. and it lights up! although, as pretty as it looks, it weighs an actual ton. 😳✊

5. two studio ghibli plushies

no face;

and a soot sprite:

6. two new revlon liquid lipsticks

in the shades ‘(650) hd spark’;

and ‘(685) hd glitz’:

7. burt’s bees lip balm (in a little gift box)

i actually already started using these, so that’s why one is missing from the box. 😂 they’re all peppermint flavoured, and they make my lips soft and smooth.

8. a new pair of sterling silver earrings

9. socks

okay, so i know it sounds lame to receive socks for christmas, but i actually love socks. 😂

i got four new pairs: two with a spongebob print, one that’s batman, and one with christmas lights on them.

10. a nightmare before christmas collectable figure

11. a hot wheel’s car

what did you get for christmas? leave a comment and let me know!

i hope you all had a merry christmas/happy hanukkah/joyful december! i hope you have happy new year as well. 😊🎉

xoML ❤

merry christmas!

hello!

woah, i haven’t posted on this blog in months. i’m hoping that’ll change in the new year, because i really do miss blogging!

it’s currently about 2am where i live, so it’s already christmas here. instead of sleeping, i decided to write a little post to say merry christmas to everyone!

i hope you all have a joyfilled day, and i promise i’ll try to post more stuff soon. maybe a post on what i got for christmas? or just a post on what my christmas traditions are? let me know and i’ll get to writing. 😊

merry christmas and happy holidays! ⛄🎄🎉

Recent Updates | November-December 2018

Helllllooooooo.

I feel like everything I post on here is an update post. I’ll try to change that soon lmao.

Enjoy. 💙

1. The Bandito Tour

I saw twenty one pilots on November 2nd, and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to. The opening bands were Awolnation and Max Frost (which were both absolutely amazing acts, by the way). I don’t want to say too much though, in case I do actually do write a post on this.

2. My Boyfriend (!!!)

Okay, this is going to sound crazy, considering how antisocial I am, but I actually have a boyfriend. Woah. He’s ftm transgender. I don’t want to say his name in case he reads this (which is super unlikely since he doesn’t have wordpress), but even if he did read this he would know it was me instantly lmao. But he’s super cute and I love him so so much. Sadly, though, it’s an online relationship, so it’s a little bit harder than an irl relationship. Don’t worry — I’m being careful haha. The internet’s a scary place, so it’s never a bad thing to pay extra attention to who you’re talking to. We’ve been friends for 8 months, and in a relationship for almost 2 months. (Our 2 month anniversary is on Saturday! 😄😙)

3. TV Shows

Okay, so a lot of you already know that I’m currently watching season 3 of Riverdale (if you didn’t know, now you do! 😉), but I’m actually watching two other shows as well. I’m on season 2 of The Vampire Diaries — which is AMAZING btw — and I’m also watching season 1 of Legacies, which is like a ‘sequel’ to TVD. I’m waiting for Stranger Things 3 too. 😔 They’re all great shows, and you can find them all on Netflix or the CW.

4. Randomness

This is totally irrelevant, but since any of my last posts I’ve gotten a new haircut! It’s super short and I think it’s cute.

(Excuse me for the terrible photo, the lighting was bad and I’m awful at taking pictures lol)

Anyways, I know I’ve been absent from this site for so long, but I’ll honestly try to keep up with it this time. I’ve got a few post ideas in mind, and I’ll start writing them ASAP.

Any posts you might like to see from me? Leave a comment! I love reading through comments and taking suggestions.

Life Updates | September 2018

Helllllooooooo.

I know what you’re thinking – it’s been way too long since I actually posted something interesting on this blog!

Trust me, I know. I promise I haven’t forgotten about my blog. I’ve just had a ton of stuff going on in my life recently, and it’s all super overwhelming and different.

If you don’t care about my personal life and you’re only here for the album reviews, then feel free to click away from this post. Because today, I’m going to be talking about my personal life and all this stressful stuff, and some not stressful stuff (I know, amazing), that I’ve been dealing with lately.

Enjoy!

1. My Personal Life

Honestly I don’t mind sharing things related to my personal life, as long as it’s not anything too revealing. Of course, everyone needs their privacy, but if you want to hear more about this, it’s as simple as leaving a comment.

2. New Music & Content

A few things I haven’t talked about are the new albums/singles/eps from some of my favorite bands and artists. Bloom by Troye Sivan, Lake Effect Kid EP by Fall Out Boy, Death Dance by Palaye Royale, and sooo much more. Let me know if you want a post on any of these things!

3. Social Media

Keeping up with social media is pretty stressful. I don’t really have a super busy life outside the internet, which makes social media even more time-consuming. It’s a lot to deal with, but somehow I manage.

4. School

This may sound like what every lazy teen says on a day-to-day basis, but I hate school. I can’t stand it. As much as homeschool seems like the easier, less-stressful option, I can assure you it’s not. Not for me, at least. I guess it’s because I’m uninterested in most subjects I’m studying. Any tips/advice to keep focused?

5. Hobbies

Speaking of interests, I’ve been trying to do more things I enjoy lately. I’ve also been spending a little extra time around my family, and I’ve been trying to go out as often as possible. One of the things I’ve been enjoying a lot recently is a show on the CW called Riverdale. It’s so interesting, and I’m extremely obsessed. My Mom and I have been watching it for hours every day for about a week. It’s on Netflix, and I definitely recommend it.

Of course, there have been other mental issues I’ve been dealing with, but those things are more likely to show up on my second blog, behindthebloomingflower.wordpress.com. Go give it a follow if you’re interested. (:

Charlotte Travel Diary | Cemeteries and Going Home – June 29th & 30th

Helllllooooooo.

This is the last part of my Charlotte travel diary, as all of this would not have fit into one post.

Yes, technically I should have posted this months ago, but somehow I just now got around to it.

Enjoy!

June 29th (the day after my birthday and our last full day in NC):

After a long night of partying hard, we crashed at the hotel and woke up the next day feeling exhausted and worn out.

We woke up pretty early so we wouldn’t miss breakfast. We all got dressed and went downstairs to the breakfast bar/buffet (what do you even call those?) and found a table. We all got our food and sat down to eat.

I was at our table, peacefully eating my waffles, and across the room there was a TV. So, of course, I felt intrigued to watch it. It took me a moment to realize I was watching Panic! At The Disco performing live on the Today Show.

Once I realized what it was, I almost screamed. Of course, I couldn’t hear the TV from across the room, but I watched every second of it. (We actually ended up searching for and watching the videos on youtube after we got home.)

After breakfast, we went back up to our room and got dressed in our swimsuits to go down to the pool. We stayed there a while, and I even got my hair wet (which I said I didn’t want to do).

When we got done there, we went back to our room to shower and dress in clean clothes.

We went out to Shelby, North Carolina to drive around and explore old memories.

After driving around for a bit, we went out to Sunset Cemetery in Shelby, NC. Some of my mom’s family was buried there, so we figured we’d stop by.

On the way there, we saw a community garden outside next to a church. My mom cried and picked a bouquet to leave on her family’s graves. I helped her pick some flowers and ended up taking pictures of them because they were so pretty.

I also took some photos at the cemetery that I think turned out pretty good. They weren’t necessarily professional photos, but for my crap camera I think they look pretty nice.

After visiting the cemetery, we stopped at a place called Bridge’s Barbecue to eat lunch.

Basically they’re a southern food restaurant who have been around for over 70 years. I ordered a barbecue plate, which was more than enough food, and a SunDrop soda. I’m not much of a soda drinker, and this was my first SunDrop. I literally fell in love, it was so freaking good.

The food at this restaurant was definitely an A+ from me and my entire family. The barbecue, hush puppies, fries, slaw, and even the desserts were all fantastic. I ate a Boston Creme Pie (like a slice of a chocolate/cream cake) for dessert, and it was amazing.

I ate so much food, and I honestly want to go back. If you like southern/country food, this is the place to go. Should you ever find yourself in Shelby, North Carolina, I definitely recommend eating here at least once.

After eating lunch, we drove around some of the surrounding areas of Shelby and Lincolnton. We listened to MCR (My Chemical Romance) in the car and drove to a local bar/cafe type place where a friend of my dad’s had some of his artwork on display.

We found a place to park and walked a block or so to the building, and I took a few pictures of the art on display.

After that, we walked around the area, where I took tons if pictures of the beautiful street art all over the buildings.

We got back to our car and drove around until it got dark. Then, we stopped at Little Caeser’s to get pizza for dinner. We also got donuts from Krispy Kreme for dessert.

I sat in my bed (yes, I had a bed to myself in our hotel room) and ate dinner while watching tv. I saved my donuts for the next day.

I eventually

That was pretty much the perfect way to end our last day on vacation.

June 30th (going home):

Waking up this morning was a little disappointing. Not that I didn’t want to wake up, but I wasn’t necessarily looking forward to going home.

You know after a trip/vacation, going home seems boring? That’s kind of how I felt.

A tradition of mine is jumping on the hotel beds before we leave. So my brother, sister and I did just that. We jumped on the beds, and, if you’ve never done that before, you’re missing out on quite a lot. It was tons of fun.

Then we packed up all our stuff and got ready to leave. We ate breakfast (where I ate three frosted donuts) and then got all of our things into our car.

We checked out of the hotel and settled into the car. We were going to visit my mom’s friend before we officially left NC.

We visited my mom’s friend, who I’ll leave nameless, and her daughter (who’s 18) showed me her collection of Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks (which are GORGEOUS btw 👌). Their dog was so sweet, even though she kept sitting on my feet. 😂

Also, they bought me a little birthday present, since my birthday was a couple days before. It was a small silver toe ring (I don’t wear much jewelry, but it’s actually really pretty). Honestly the idea of wearing a toe ring makes me want to cry, so I just wore it on my fingers. I actually love it!

(What do you think?):

We hung out for a little while at their house, talking and listening to music (yes, we heard p!atd 😏), and then we eventually said our goodbyes. A lot of photos were taken, and I tried to stay away from the cameras (I honestly hate pictures of myself).

We got in the car to leave and I ate my two donuts from Krispy Kreme (which we got the night before). They were kind of messy (I got oreo and birthday cake flavors), but they tasted delicious.

We drove back home and, thankfully, our cat was still alive. We picked up our dog from the kennel the the day after I think.

And that was the perfect end to our (mostly) perfect trip to Charlotte.

Thank you so much for reading all this!

I’m so sorry about publishing this so late. I’ll work on my “schedule” sometime soon. And, while my break from blogging was much-needed, I can’t wait to continue my blog from here. More posts coming soon!

Life Updates | July 2018

Helllllooooooo.

I haven’t posted in forever! I have a few valid excuses this time, so be prepared.

Enjoy!

Firstly, here’s why I haven’t posted in so long:

Usually it takes me a while to actually write a full post. That may sound crazy, but writing a long, detailed post could possibly take me weeks.

Maybe it’s because I’m so unmotivated. I never have any motivation to do anything, which means less blog posts and more procrastinating. Anything that involves too much effort, I can definitely guarantee that I don’t want any part in it.

Why am I so unmotivated, you might ask? Well, that’s the problem; I don’t actually know.

Lately I’ve been staying up way too late and sleeping in for most of the day. I don’t actually like summer, to be honest. It’s too hot to do anything, and even if you did do something, mosquitoes would most likely ruin it.

My motivation problems:

I want to post things on my blog. I’m not ready to give up on it yet. I just hit 100 followers, and I enjoy giving you guys content. Even if you did follow me for only one type of post (ie. album reviews, travel diaries, life updates, etc.), I still like to give you content of some sort.

So, I’m going to finally force myself to do stuff.

Yes, you heard me. This is not a drill. I’m actually going to do things.

And by “do things,” I mean small things that will help me with anxiety/boredom/sadness/etc. For example, drawing. I’m going to start drawing again soon. I’d also like to learn to play a few instruments, if possible. I have an acoustic guitar that I’ve never played, so it’d be nice to learn.

Depression:

Another thing I’d like to start doing is putting my mental health first. Recently I’ve fallen into a deep, dark pit of depression, and I’m currently in the middle of climbing back out.

Even if it just means doing small things for myself, it’s still technically a pretty decent start to my journey in finding happiness.

Social media:

Another thing I’d like to talk about is social media. I finally created an Instagram! As I’m still currently figuring out how everything works on there, I’ll leave this part of the updates at that. I’ll eventually share my account with you guys, but I still have a few things to get sorted.

More Concerts!!!

Also! Probably the most important part of this post (and definitely my favorite part) is telling you guys that…

Not only am I seeing Panic! At The Disco live in January of 2019, I’m also seeing Twenty One Pilots live in November of 2018.

I am so freaking excited!!!

I’m seeing TØP in Atlanta on November 2nd, 2018, and I’m seeing P!ATD in Charlotte on January 22nd, 2019.

I can’t wait!! It’s just going to be my mom and I seeing TØP, but my whole family and I are seeing P!ATD (me, my mom and dad, and my brother and sister).

I’ll definitely be sure to post photos/videos/updates about it when it finally comes around.

And that’s all for today! I still have one more travel diary post coming soon, so look out for that.

Lots of love,

-ML

Charlotte Travel Diary | June 28th – My Birthday

Helllllooooooo.

I am so behind in my posts, it’s almost unreal. I’ve had a lot going on recently, which I’d like to explain in another post, and everything has been kind of hectic.

There will be one more post on my trip to Charlotte coming soon, so expect that in the next few days.

Read part one here.

Enjoy!

Waking up the next morning was different.

I had just seen my first concert in over a year, it was my 13th birthday, and I was in a new, strange place that wasn’t at all like home.

As soon as I announced that I was awake, my entire family said happy birthday at least five times each.

After taking some time to fully wake up, we all pretty much just sat around and watched TV. I watched Teen Titans Go! with my brother, a tradition of ours (every time we’re in a hotel and there’s a TV, we watch teen titans — it’s just a thing), and drank a juice box because mentally I’m still 4 years old.

My parents brought my presents with us so I could open them in the hotel before we left to do stuff. I got three t-shirts (a Panic! At The Disco shirt, a twenty one pilots shirt, and a My Chemical Romance shirt), a snowglobe, and a bunch of buttons and enamel pins.

We left the hotel to walk around downtown Charlotte, where we ate at Moe’s for lunch.

I took a bunch of photos as well.

My brother chasing a pigeon:

My sister standing next to a fountain:

A fountain with fish (featuring a random guy in the back):

My brother following the same pigeon again:

The building next to the park we were in:

A statue:

I have no idea what this is but I took a picture of it anyway:

Some pretty gates:

A motivational story/statue thing (honestly idk, I just thought it was cool):

Some buildings downtown:

A statue next to an art museum:

After we ate food and walked around, we headed over to a mall and walked around the stores. They had a Hot Topic, my favorite store, which was a lot bigger than the one in Charleston.

I got two more t-shirts (an All Time Low shirt and a Dan and Phil shirt), and my dad got a Queen shirt.

Then we walked around Journeys, GameStop, and the Vans outlet. There was an escalator, which my brother was terrified to get on (he eventually just took the stairs).

There was a place called Funtasticks just down the road from the mall we were at, so we stopped there because they had an email arcade.

We played a ton of arcade games, but my favorite game was ski-ball. My sister played one of the ski-ball games and accidentally broke the game. The machine started spewing out tickets, which the guy who worked there let her keep. In all we ended up with over 600 tickets, which we split into thirds between me and my siblings. I spent all my tickets on candy, since most things cost too much to buy.

After the arcade, we ate at a Mexican restaurant for dinner.

Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped at Sonic, where we waited over 30 minutes just to get a milkshake.

We took my milkshake back to our hotel room and my mom stuck a candle in it and my whole family sang happy birthday. It was a sparkler candle (like a firework sparkler), which I blew almost immediately because it could have started a fire (thankfully it didn’t lol).

I listened to music and ate my milkshake, and before I went to sleep I read Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. After I read a few chapters, I fell asleep pretty quickly.

That was part two of my Charlotte Travel Diary!

I have one more post on my Charlotte experience, and it should be published within the next few days.
